Contacting the CWU

Have phoned and left several messages for someone to call me back regarding several questions I have about the proposed agreement and the repercussions it will have on part timers. All very polite, and above board leaving my contact details.

The first call I made was over ten days ago.

I would urge all union colleagues to contact the CWU on 0208 9717 200 and voice your disdain for the leadership.

You may not get a response and you will probably be passed through to someone's voicemail.

I reckon if 100 people phone in about 2/3 times a day and effectively cripple their communications infrastructure with "please call me back" etc, they might actually acknowledge we ain't best pleased

Well in Dave Wards case he is in several meetings and Bob Gibson - they are touring the country trying to sell this bag of shite to the membership.

The Manchester Meeting was today and some have said how well they speak - of course they do, that's what got them in the position they are in today - talking bullshit. This deal, comrades, is a bad deal for postmen, not purely from a financial point of view but also in respect of terms and conditions.

One analogy I would like to put forward regarding the revision tools for deliveries and the workshops that will follow 4 weeks AFTER the vote has been accepted is like walking round a supermarket without knowing the price of the goods and being amazed how expensive everything turns out to be - if accepted this deal will cost us a lot more than money.
