What they have agreed so far
Seen as the union cant be bothered to communicate with its members it only right that i put up what R/M and the CWU have agreed amongst themselves.
And before some get themselves in a flap YES we the membership will have a vote on whether to accept or reject it.
As far as im aware by the end of next week or sooner the talks will be concluded.
1.D2DS will be incorporated into your daily work load. There will also be a 52 week payment for those that qualify the limit will be lifted to 4-5.
2. Shorter working week.
3. 3 year pay deal with a pay rise each year and the final pay rise in 2012 will be more significant than the previous 2.
4. A significant lump sum payment (I think this is the golden carrot) Also there will be lump sum payment made through up and coming revisions.
5. An extension to last letter by no more than 1 hour.
6. There will be no defined delivery time like we have at present 3.5hrs ( Your working day will still be 7-8 hrs)
7. Saturday deliveries to be the same as any other day through the week (Longer)
8. Walk speeds have been reduced by 1.7% on the pegasus software also the time allowed for knocking on doors getting signatures is rising to 3.8-3.9%
9. New duty structures.
I can not give any more info on the points above as they were vague when said to me these are not rumours they are fact.

Re: What they have agreed so far
This wasnt said who would qualify but it was asked.
If im reading into what was said correctly those that wont qualify are people that only do a very small amount of D2DS (ie less than 50) group men,ags that also dont do them .
As i said the info given was rather vague and ive just posted what we were told in a meeting that had been agreed by both parties.
But for once in a long time what i have posted is not rumour or chinese whipsers this is fact some may like it others wont.
Me personally fecking hate all parts of it

i just wana know if P/T is gettin shafted out of the DEALS
because there seems to be different sets of deals for each
for example at xmas(bonus) - we got less than full timers even tho we was all made up to full time hours.
ITS THINGS LIKE THIS THAT PISSES US PART TIMERS OFF.
one day part timers will have the same right as full timers

Re: What they have agreed so far
If your a P/T if im correct all P/TS will get a pro-rata of the lump sum payment but i could be wrong.
You will not get the same amount as a F/T this is how its worked in the past with lump sum payments but maybe due to the level of change it may be different this time around.

Re: What they have agreed so far
If you were 'made up' to full time hours OFFICIALLY then you would have got the full Xmas Bonus. Otherwise go see you re...... oh, crap, you dont want to pay £1.69 a week do you!

Re: What they have agreed so far
You know what el, you are beginning to get right on my tits. You never read what was written you just assume. The D2D payment WILL NOT BE pro-rata. The lump sum bonus WILL be pro-rata.el_cartero wrote:HOW CAN WE GET PRO RATA ON DOOR TO f***ing DOORS IF WE DO THE SAME AMOUNT AS FULLTIMERS.MoNkEyBoY wrote:If your a P/T if im correct all P/TS will get a pro-rata of the lump sum payment but i could be wrong.

THEY ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS!
This has been explained to you multiple times now. Besides, we need to read the agreement before we do any assuming tbh.
Can a moderator restrict him to one post a day or something?
Personally they can offer me what they want, if the deal is s**t I will VOTE NO!

The big questions HOW much we getting and will this stick, workloads not increased any further ?
2. Shorter working week.
How short ?, do we still retain our paid meal breaks and are we looking at maybe 4 day week or is this going to be "local" agreement ?
3. 3 year pay deal with a pay rise each year and the final pay rise in 2012 will be more significant than the previous 2.
By what percentage and do we get back pay flow thought basic, OT and SAs ?
4. A significant lump sum payment (I think this is the golden carrot) Also there will be lump sum payment made through up and coming revisions.
Lump sum better be big not a poxy £400, revisions will have be explicit in details not wishy washy wording like P&M 2007
5. An extension to last letter by no more than 1 hour.
Making a 4.5 hour delivery ? bit long
6. There will be no defined delivery time like we have at present 3.5hrs ( Your working day will still be 7-8 hrs)
I don't like this, its open to abuse knowing what local managements are like
7. Saturday deliveries to be the same as any other day through the week (Longer)
Do we have a shorter day through the week ? in which case do the workload correspondingly reduce ? I don't think so as was said above the working day is extended by 1 hour and no defined delivery times.
8. Walk speeds have been reduced by 1.7% on the pegasus software also the time allowed for knocking on doors getting signatures is rising to 3.8-3.9%
better than 4 mph , I agree on this......just, make it based on 100% call rate and you're talking
9. New duty structures.
again lacking on details on exactly what is the new duty structures going to be and possibly open to abuse ?
I can not give any more info on the points above as they were vague when said to me these are not rumours they are fact.

Re: What they have agreed so far
Nw i can appreciate your questions asked im just relaying back to you guys what the CWU and R/M have agreed on .
I suppose the finer details will come out in 70 page document shortly.
I just thought you lads and lassies had a rite to know and this is my only reason for posting the info i have.
Also forgot to mention the ratio of F/T to P/T is rising ti 75%-25%
Im sorry i cant give you answers that will be on everyones mind that reads this post.
