if the union asked us to stop working our day off (on over time) for 1 month would royal mail be in the s**t and have to employ more staff

I won't but a few still do, I have enough work without adding an extra days worth of damage to my body every week.

Hardly ever work my day off, but next week my boss won't be happy a mate has asked me to cover his sorting and prepping on my next day off and he will come in and do the delivery, owing me 1/2 a day.

I do cover for mates if they ask but i don't consider this working my day off as i always get it back.........eventually.
