Do we have an agreement which stops RM from changing my finish time as I need to get home and look after my child for the next 18 months.

don,t think so if it agreed. i think some changes are being done locally and some do nationally. it depends on how strong your union is in your office normally as to how the duties change. every office is different i think you will find. i and thousand of othes on here are like you and have based our life around this job.

There are laws about it and from what I gather, they are quite strictly followed.

ask for a family friendly form from your line manager. it,s helped plenty in my office. hasn,t done much for seniority though.
