My partner may be having his part-time working hours forcibly reduced by 20 %.

What is his union rep saying about this?
Is it part of cost cutting at his place of work?
Is he going to be compensated for reduction in hours.
Does his CONTRACT state his weekly hours cos if they are changing it should be agreed.
These questions need posted so you can get right advice, also if he is not in RM, then seek advice asap from local CAB office about this cos once it changes you will not have a leg to stand on.
