A letter writer in saturdays Telegraph says she is scared of dogs,the reply states that the best product for protection is "the dazer" as used by Royal Mail,anybody ever been issued with one ?

i had one the dogs just looked at you!! sent the cats scatty tho good if you dont want them crapping in your garden!! hav ny seen a dazer for ages tho sold mine for £30

They were really good if used correctly.
The official method was you preseed a button when a dog was coming near you ,and it let out a high frequencey sound,so high humans coud not hear it but dogs could and would be shocked and dazed by it.

i think somewhere the instructions got muddled,Dogs took no notice of this at all,think possibly cats cant rember.
Like I SAY IF USED CORRECTLY VERY GOOD ,quite bulky ,so when faced with a snarling dog dont press the button but aim for the dogs head and throw it at the dog and run.

this was another quality item from RM and on par with LDV vans ,their uniform and elastic bands crap.

tried it out on some freindly dogs who thought it was a new toy!

Still got one at home. I use it when Ive got a headache. Keeps the misses away.

You were supposed to give the instructions to the dog to read first. Didn't they tell you that?

I got one last year and they are a waste of time. Heavy to carry with you and the alsatian who was a threat to me was not at all distressed by me pointing this object at him. Another useless item issued by RM in an attempt to look as if they are concerned about us.
