Dear Colleague
Parcelforce: Valentines Day And Mothers Day Agreements
Branches will be aware that in previous years agreements have been achieved with the business in regard to incentives for our members in Parcelforce to attend on Valentines Day and Mothers Day.
The department has recently been in discussion with the business in relation to agreements for 2010. The business have informed that department that due to predicted traffic volumes this year it has been decided that extra resource will not be required and as such agreements will not be necessary
Branches are requested to ensure that our representatives are made aware of this decision as soon as possible.
Should local representatives be approached by managers in regard to incentives for additional resourcing for these days they are requested to notify the department immediately.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one
