Royal Mail Security Standards

Royal Mail has six Security pipeline standards:

1. Mails are never left unattended or insecure at any time.
2. All staff display an appropriate level of security awareness.
3. Unauthorised access to Royal Mail premises is prevented.
4. Special Delivery and high risk mails are afforded appropriate protection.
5. Supervisory Checks to safeguard mail are effectively deployed.
6. Equipment used to convey mail affords the appropriate level of security at all times.

I work in a DO attached to a MC, every morning I go into work and the gate house is empty and the barrier is up so anyone could get in. RM can't even get the basics right :roll:

:chuckle Our gate stays open from we open until we close and anyone can come in or out at will.
