as i don't use one of these trolley/pram type contraptions, i was wondering how those that do cope in the present weather conditions. please be extra careful as i imagine it could cause havoc on the back.

i use a trolley and especially today it was really heavy going. Didnt know whether to push it or pull it , either way it does put a strain on your back and arms, but as i cannot carry a heavy bag i had no alternative.

Just rang up equipment to see if they have a little red sledge and a couple of huskies to pull it for tomorrow.

it's hard work with a trolley my calf and thighs were killing me took me more than 2 hrs extra to complete my duty the wheels clog up with snow on the old ones and some of the new ones colapse but much safer than bike or foot

Ive used a high cap trolley in the past in snow and its real hard going on the legs. I ended up dumping it and looped back and forth with bags.
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
