Give it a Chance!

Post by mydaily »

i for one have suffered personally at the hand of RM and do not wish things to continue that way. OK many don't like the current interim agreement, but it is just that interim to facilitate talks, what would you rather do, RM and CWU not agree anything and we keep plodding on day to day being bullied and losing pay. Yes I am sceptical whether RM will even abide by this while talks continue but they have made concessions to get to this point which until now they have stood against expecting us to roll over and surrender.

Neither side has won here that is still to come, though its not a case of winning or losing but dignity and respect something that has got totally lost in RM over the years.

At the end of the day a final agreement will have to be voted on by us, until then why do we keep going over the same ground when there is little it will do. Get over it and move on! again yes its hard but we all need jobs just as much as RM must change and modernise, these talks are to minimise the effect it will have on us but I will happen mark my word.

Finally before I get all the usual suspects quoting the fact that this is my 2nd post and I'm a manager or whatever, what does it matter. However I am very active on RMC have just changed my name, not that anyone will believe that.

OK rant over................

Whether we like it or not, and I don't, our elected representatives, we must assume, have agreed on the current situation with our best interests in mind.

However, as much as I expect Royal Mail to once again renage on the undertakings they have agreed to they have much nore to lose now than before the national strikes began.

How willl the TUC react if they discover for a second time that they have been used as stool pigeons to facilitate Croziers grand plan?

Surely even the most gullible man in the street will will see the fuller picture if a amicable agreement is not reached and adherred to and finally realise that the master plan was always to dismantle one of the last public services that was esential and affordable to everfryday life. A realisation that should include that the competition are not going to reduce their prices in line with Royal Mail but the reverse.

To remain private, I realised there was a flaw that could possibly be used to identify me, that's been rectified now.

I speak out very frankly about RM and others in my posts and external blogs/websites so I needed to make sure that privacy was as air tight as possible without a court order.

As a moderator I will always change names when people request and its an "understanding" on here that we don't try to identify members or give away any clues as to their real identity unless they do so in their own posts. I think everyone knows why.
