Management IA - what would you do?

This is just a hypothetical question, but if RM come down hard on management costs, and start a cull, and ( just assume ) the CMA/Unite grow a pair and hold a ballot for strike action.....would you support your lineos and their action, or would you flick them the vicky and grin a s**t eating "I told you so" grin?

For the record, I'd comiserate with a couple, bot for one or two others, I'd be giving hand signals so hard my wrists could fall off!

I fear you may be right.....but if they want to force mgrs out ( and cheaply ) they could pay attention to B&H grievences, and they wouldn't have to trump up the charges ( unlike many opgs sacked for sick & conduct )

The irony is with my experience of management culls - they throw money at it as they don't want disgruntled , twisted managers with massive chips on their shoulders going to Tribunals / the press etc and spilling the beans , wrong but ....... - it's most firm's - worst nightmare scenario

If I was a DOM I wouldn't go on strike because just how little a DOM does will be highlighted. If they do though I would not support them, I doubt that many are in their union anyway

Quite agree, our office always runs the smoothest when the DOMS not there. They could strike indefinetly and it would make bugger all difference
