Do you have union meetings on the premises?

I ask this because we don't.

For the last couple of years we have been holding them outside before our official start time. This came about (i think) because our old DOM refused to allow them on the premises. Or insisted on being present while they were being held.

Whats the story in your office?

No - not allowed to conduct any union meetings on our RM site. They all take place outside the gate.

Much prefer to have them,outside,that can affect attendance,but your not in hock to RM and you can talk freely without managers hanging at the back of a meeting,dont think we have had a meeting in the DO foe ages,to be honest its much better to have them away from the DO

We have had them inside, although just recently union 'activity' of any sort has had to be done outside etc.. How petty RM management can be!

I think outside is best because at one of our meetings the DOM was spotted quickly exiting the room next door, after obviously ear-wigging!

we have had gate meetings before our start times since i can remember. unless its a biggie then they have been held at our local.
