You can stay away from work during a strike no help is needed

Because of the national strikes, you can stay away from work with our full disapproval.

“I want to strike but I don’t feel safe”
• Your safety is not our top priority so we will make sure we ignore this and have an unsafe environment to stand around in.
• If you work in deliveries we can absorb your round and take your delivery away making someone else do it in their own time.
• Let your manager know that you are concerned about certain aspects on your delivery, you may want to cut so you finish on time. We will then bully and harass you and make you feel as uncomfortable as possible.
• You will be provided with a contact number so we can ignore you even more and make you waste your money trying to phone us.
• Your manager will pretend not to notice any inappropriate behaviour from other managers so the bullying will go on as normal.

“I don’t want to cross the picket line”
• So don’t, stay away and show solidarity to your fellow workers.
• We can arrange for you to be driven to work in a van so you can get out at the picket line and save yourself the hassle of making your own way to the picket line.
• Any intimidation is unlawful and should be brought against any manager who does so and reported to your union rep.

“I don’t want colleagues to see me”
• Why not, if you are crossing the picket line at least have the balls to show your face so we can all see who you are
• You don’t have to wear your uniform but when you don’t you will be disciplined under the conduct code and sacked without appeal.
• They can drive you to another unit were you will still be a strike breaker and treated with the contempt that you deserve.
