Well here we go using the only means at our disposal to show all and sundry our contempt for the current enforcement of management policy towards all staff and what do I here in our office today,
I'm coming in tommorow
WHY ???????????????

Already these same people have been complaining about lapsing and absorbsion which is now being carried on throughout the year not just the lighter periods and they hav n't got the ba**s to stand up and be counted.

Ok you lose a days pay now . What will you lose in the future besides your self respect ????????
Will it put you in favour with management ?, not likely. just remember "You're only as good as the last letter you delivered"
No doubt they will all refuse any gains that may be won i.e pension deficite etc. :left: :left: :left:

Even our own office rep will not picket as its his day off !!! :mad :mad
Well to all concerned you should hang your heads in shame and you deserve all the crap coming your way if RM get there way , for the rest of us at least we can say we tried.

This was a full ballot on all members. If you didn't vote then shame on YOU. Perhaps your's and others would have got the result that You wanted. I always thought it was the majority vote that carried the day and you ALL stood by it . Perhaps I'm thinking of a perfect world ??

very similar in our office. i shall be striking but am one of a small number.

we even have one guy who's a union member, coming in to work tomorrow on his day off,couldn't believe he would do this

I'm more supriased RM would pay anybody O/T on a strike day which is likely to be a very light day.

At least I can sleep at night as well as look myself in the mirror, and be able to go my Dads and Uncles graves without feeling that I have let slip all that they helped to fight for. Sadly it's all the younger ones in our office who dont seem to realise how important this dispute is, it is their future employment, me I've only got 6 years left if I go at 60, they still have most of their working lives left, they've all had it to easy.

If we lose this one i doubt you will get your six years :sad: Unless you can live on partime wages :sad:

Weve got a fella at our office who is on A/L this week and is going in tomorrow.

Looking like round 25% of our staff will be in if rumours are right. :evil/mad
