No written repsonse to my letters

Ive put in two letters now to my asst DIM over the weight of packets walkmen carry in pouches. On each letter ive asked for a response within 7 days of them receiving my letter. The first was in july ( not heard anythink) the second last week still not heard. Im on the DIMS back daily about getting my response in writting but hes doing sod all.

What steps can i now take to get my issue resolved seen as hes not taking my written letters seriously.

Yes i know the weight ive included in my second letter a copy of the SOP agreement. In our office we carry packets well over 2.50 kgs and its this im trying to get sorted but hes not replying to my letters on whether they agree with me or not and if they are going to change there stance on this matter to 1.25kg

So what im asking for is what are my next steps do i just hand over the matter now to my area rep........

You could try in typed letter format:

Request for risk assessment record(s)

Employers are required to provide safety representatives with copies of the results of the risk assessments.

You need to go through the IR Framework mate,click on this link and go to section 1.3 achieving local agreement.
