Down in the smoke, amid the backlog(you know the one that isn't really there),managers are near breaking point and are now argueing with each other, one DSM has been described as 'a broken man'.
Some offices are just sorting, some are not taking any more work in,and some are, well, just taking what they can.

Something to cheer you up
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Come in and take out what you fancy at mine generally. Apparently though tommorrow is "packet day" as RM have been absolutley battered with compo claims for late delivery. All this agro that nobody needs
If only somebody would come in with a bit of understanding that get the service right, keep the workforce on board, and the holy grail (profit) will surely follow.

Our MC is crammed with work, despite loads being sent to the Dartford scab office,
HWDC, Jubilee Mail Centre and other places.
Our managers are now getting totally fed up. Shame they don't have the backbone to
tell those at the top that their plans aren't working.
