Does anyone know about 22.5 hour weeks ,4.5 hour days .
The postman/woman has the mail brought out to their home, and they deliver it.
More casual workforce then ? Any comments/views?

Its called the dutch model and the rumour is RM are looking at this as a way of making savings.

I am guessing in the future FT posties will prep 2 of these and then do there own and deliver it.

All this talk of mail brought to posties homes for them to deliver, surely that makes the mail just as insecure as now taking undelivered mail home at the end of the working day which is a sackable offence.
