New Tactics IA

Post by blaze3 »

After a string of one day strikes our office has a new tactic.
Our revision is due to be implemented by executive action on 03.08.09

Next Friday strike from 10.15
Sat strike from 09.15
Mon 03.08 strike from 10.15

Should be interesting

It seems a lot of offices are having exec action in august mine included, a walk in my office apparantly has had 300 properties added to it and around 40 taken off?, I have done this walk and it wasnt the longest but on a quiet day it would still take you best part of 3 hours so adding 260 properties is adding around 1 1/2 hour Id say which brings us to 4 1/2 hour which seems like the new number they want us to walk.

They can give me a twenty five hour walk if they want but when I get to the end of my time it's :speak to the hand

We had Pegus 1 this time last year.and expexcting Pegus 2 shortly. We took no IA at all simply did our job properley, all start at propper time, have meal releif finish on time, all use
vans and bikes. We had massive walks one I did 800 houses.Result --RM had so many cut offs, that built up and up .It cost RM a fortune,Pegus 1 was abandanded ,some Mnagement
were chopped, and things went back to mormal, office 500k over budget,so a year later the Company are going to indroduce Pegus 2,what Management !!

The walk I did with 800 houses ,1 ocasion ,I did delivery for 15 minutes ,and cut off, another I never left the office,as it took so long to prep.
But we did get greif at times from Managers over cut offs.

:Applause Well done Puppetmaster. How the hell did you manage to get all your office to work "Properly"? We're due to take IA as soon as it's balloted etc. I'm interested to see the result of this ballot and even more interested to see who turns up for work if it's a YES! We were told we could just work "Properly" as of now but the majority felt it was a no go as most of the office just please themselves anyway.

Due to the difficulty of trying to motivate these sheep we're pressing the local rep to intially try and organise a few days of working properly and see how that goes. Should have minimum exuses of "lose of wages, getting home late etc". Anyone had similiar problems with these idiots and how did you sort it?
Cheers :wave
