Have had meetings with a HR MANAGER about my absence, and she reckons i could return to work on "light duties" !!!
Im still under the guidance of my doctor, im also receiving private treatment for my problems and physio from Royal Mail.
Ive a meeting next week, been told to bring my rep in, can they force me to come back?
Coming back early and unfit will no doubt lengthen the time im unable to fully return to work.

Re: Human Resources
depite their uslessness it might be worth giving them a call and see what they say. In the unlikely event they back up your doctor you won't have to go in.
If they do say you can do light duties then they should give you an indication of what type of duty, any restrictions (weight, hours, standing, sitting etc)and how long the rehab should take. In the current climate it would be better to call them and get their advice, as if it goes to stage 3 and RTU then you can show you have done your best even if the rehab is unsuccessful and you have to off sick again.

ATOS does not work they are only there too ensure you work whether fit or unfit for work!. How do these people contact you?. If you get sent a letter from royalmail do not sign it nor send it off you are sick you would therefore show you can deliver A letter and thus can do more!. If ATOS phone you are you sure it is them? would you tell your life story too a complete and utter stranger for all you know it maybe M15!. If you are ill WHY SHOULD YOU BE TREATED AS THOUGH YOU ARE NOT!.hawkwing wrote:ive had 2 telephone interviews with ATOS, waste of time, no face to face meetings at all, was told thats how ATOS works these days.
