about time a national ballot was held................look out london and scotland........the rest of the country will be out with you

It is my understanding a National ballot is not on the cards just yet. The reason for this is that reports from each branch incluing Branch action plans where they list offices on a traffic light system ie Red for those offices who need a lot more work , amber for those offices who need a little more work and green for those which can be balloted straight away are showing that in some Branch`s a lot more work needs to be done.
When the motion was moved by Dave Ward at Conference he made it clear that a national ballot would take time to win whereas the tactic of workplace ballots put pressure on Royal Mail straight away.
So the tactic which is working is to bring online more ballots on a rolling basis is having an effect. Yesterday all of Manchester Deliveries and Glasgows along with a singificant other number were endorsed by the PEC.
