couldnt believe it today...our dom cancelled work time yawning and said we could go out early to deliver mail as long as we were back by 9.30 to pick up the missort retreval and any specials from the locker due to the heatwave
as everyone was back and didnt take the piss he has said we can do it tomorrow as well....lets hope this use of common sense prevails whilst the weather is like this although im sure he will recieve orders from above to stop it

We had that snore fest video,5 mins of pure coparate propaganda.The thing i could'nt understand was banning private cars (about time) then the next part was cutting back on bike deliverys.Obviously starburst is back on the agenda! Our office would collapse with stopping people using cars.And as most the post offices in our town are now closed there's no where to dump these electric hct.We have at least 7 HCT's gathering dust as they just dont work apart from a high street delivery where you do have a high volume of mail.But then there's the security issue with so much scum hanging around town centre's!!

Some of my office also had WTL today, LM read off a hymn sheet. We said about our concerns regarding the sun/temp and all he said was slip, slap slop, I thought he was talking about the Magnums

Both of our DOMs must at least be on the same wavelength, as I am sure we viewed the same video at this mornings WTLL. Did you notice the stupid prat who was lugging 3 delivery pouches of mail across the road, what a no brainer. Talking about weight of the shoulder issues.

Had same dvd at our office on our 18inch tv, was a load of non sense really and laughable. When the head of whatever was talking about the new computer programme that makes all walks fairer and equal our whole office starting laughing
As for electric HCT i wonder when our office will receive one of those, 2015 im guessing!

the electric trolleys are there though! they wont be rolled out like the current HCT's, but walks with loads of really steep hills n stuff have one at a very nearby office to me. you have to use both hands though when your using the trolley, if your stimutaneously using the trolley/delivering the letters it will be quite anoying

I was told some time ago that the golf trolleys were being scrapped in September,however at our WTLL today was told that was not the case anyone know if they are or not?

Phantom....is that a 9-30 finish time, and say half a hour to do specials ect,...so 10-oo o,clock fin....what time do you start and WOW..LUCKY YOU...were still sorting at that time of day.....Peak and Troughs, mail is just as bad now as it was leading up to Crimbo. ...and as for are Dim...no chance of doin us any favours.........i call it Early Learning Classes......
