Re: How many People allowed off in one week
Don't know how many are allowed off at one time for A/L at my office but we had 14 off sick last week. I even saw the DOM had turned up on Saturday morning in a track suit and trainers to go out and do walks
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
Illegitimi non carborundum

Re: How many People allowed off in one week
Our office has ten walks and only two allowed off at one time. Last year it was three but our area has a holiday ban imposed just now. Don't know what the union legal people are doing as people who carried over holidays from last year for one reason or another can't take them. Now people are just going off sick so the W@NKERS running the company are not so clever.

The P&M agreement states that for every duty lapsed it would allow an extra member of staff to take A/L. Take a copy to your Dom and ask for the week off. If he says no then tell him you aint lapsing. Put in a grievance if he tries to insist.SovietOnion73 wrote:This is just a quicky under the pay and modernisation agreement( ENABLERS) we were all under the impression that 12 people would be allowed off during the summer period as we would be covering two walks sadly this is not the case in our office only 10 are allowed off but when we first signed upto the p/m agreement it was set at 12 but has since changed. So fellas how many are allowed off in your office during the summer months
The time has come to stop turning the other cheek, time to stop shaking our heads in bitter dismay, time to stop mumbling our angry words.
The time has come for union.
