Mark White - " Two Posties , One Van - But no Post

Postman apparently you'll have to rename this site " Postman Chav " ! & change all the graphics and logos

Two Posties , One Van - But no Post - Mark White Hellmail 24/03/09

" Choosing to take solace in the brotherhood of a venemous on line forum that owes more to Chavisim than anything one could count as reasoned "
" This level of engagement is symptomatic of a service that has been in public ownership for too long "
" There still exists a Scargill mindset within the workplace " .
http://www.hellmail.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's in Features - Featured articles via hyperlinks on the homepage .

You could counter this with the " Victorian Millowners " , 100 years out of date management & " Stalinist " scathing criticisms leveled at RM's Senior Management by the CWU's PEC's Pete Keenlyside or senior management trying to provoke strikes by DGS Dave Ward & blaming the union for it . Oldest 50's spiv trick in the book :hmmmm .

Steve Lawson's article is a lot more objective than that rant .

There's been some sulking smacked arses at 148 Old St , that's for sure . Must go , one's Bull Mastiff has savaged the neighbours again and one is completely out of White Lightening & draw

I don't usually go on there, but I followed the link...anyway, reading the article "RM strike calls intensify" I was struck by the following sentence.
"Royal Mail said that the changes were essential given that mail volume was falling by as much as 10% a year in some areas and that the threat posed by competition and the digital age was relentless"

This actually supports my view, that while most of us are struggling under increasing mail volumes, there are some offices where they have NO MAIL to deliver. This would also explain the smiling faces in the Courier.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I think that the statement meant in some areas of mail, though I would certainly like a job where everything in the garden is rosy and smile all day.

It just shows how desperate they are to find something to criticise about our position, when they have to resort to childish insults like that, doesn't it?
I think it speaks volumes, that we have (mostly) found reasoned arguments against RM and The Labour(aka Tories MK II) Party, plans for our service. But the best they can come up with, are insults. :hmmmm

Well done to everyone on here, and in the Union. Who've contributed to the defence of our service, jobs, conditions, etc.. Against the Government, and RM's, best efforts to decimate it! :Applause :dance :Applause :Very Happy
Don't knock Insanity
it's just another outlook on Reality!
