Asking Allan
I asked Allan something and got a reply from someone at the Managing Directors office. The questions were about the actions of my managers at my PF depot regarding forced overtime and a few other things. In the reply they have asked for my name and the depot I work at. What are the consequences of giving this info to them? I say consequences as I presume an "investigation" will be done and I will be a marked man

Re: Asking Allan
They asked me everytime I asked a question but all I gave them was 'I fear that if I give you my details then I'll be subject to bullying and harassment by managers as they try to brush their misdeeds under the carpet' which usually gets the reply of 'I assure you that your details will be kept confidential'smok3y666 wrote:I asked Allan something and got a reply from someone at the Managing Directors office. Re: Asking Allan
I must admit I have never been asked for my name etc.. but then again maybe thats why I've only had one response.

Re: Asking Allan
If you felt strongly enough about something to have sent the first email, I think you shouldn't back out now. Although I do understand your worry about being named as the whistle-blower. Isn't there some protection enshrined in law that covers people from unfair treatment after they expose wrong-doing in the public sector ? I seem to remember something about it on the news last year

Well I just asked Allan the same question it seems. Forced overtime.

Public Information Disclosure Act 2004 - you can take RM to tribunal for it .Carnoustie wrote:If you felt strongly enough about something to have sent the first email, I think you shouldn't back out now. Re: Asking Allan
But for management whose generic management style is stuck in the 70's, do you think any Acts from as recently as 2004 will even appear on their radar?norbert wrote:Public Information Disclosure Act 2004 - you can take RM to tribunal for it .Carnoustie wrote:If you felt strongly enough about something to have sent the first email, I think you shouldn't back out now. On the subject of harassment think the CWU brothers and sisters should take a butchers at this Tribunal judgement http://www.bailii.org/cgi-bin/markup.cg ... 00206.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
