Just wondering how many of you know about this? and if anyones going to be there ?

Its being held in Bilston the constituency of Pat McFadden the post office minister,
this Saturday 14th March.

Anti-Privatisation Demonstration Visits McFadden

11th March 2009


The Communication Workers Union is holding a demonstration in the constituency of Minister for Postal Affairs, Pat McFadden, on Saturday 14th March opposing privatisation of Royal Mail.


Postal workers from across the UK, their families and the public are expected to turn out for this march and rally to express concern at plans to privatise Royal Mail.

Speakers include:
· Billy Hayes, CWU general secretary
· Dave Ward, deputy general secretary
· Brian Simpson MEP and European Party Spokesman on Postal Issues
· Geraldine Smith MP, sponsor of EDM 428
· Jane Loftus, Vice President
· John Grogan MP


Details:
Saturday 14th March
Assemble 11.30am, at corner of Greencroft and Arthur St, Bilston, Wolverhampton
March: departs 12 noon
Rally/speeches: 1pm at the Imperial Banqueting House, Wellington Road, Bilston
Speakers will be available for interview on the day.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
