Hi all I was wondering is our office the only one that doesn't get the WTL sessions?
How do we go about getting them started?
People in our office think we dont get them just so that the management can save hours, e.g(40 workers no WTL session 20 hours saved) and because we dont get the WTL sessions this allows management to add more work on to us telling us its a light day.
Then they tell us they have to make more savings through effiency thus splitting up 2 duties. Basically management is saving 40 hours a week by not having WTL sessions.
We feel that if we had our WTL sessions then management could not split up 2 duties as everyone would be over their times or on their times even on a light day as they call it, usually Tuesdays.
Has anyone got any advice on how to get these sessions started as management turns a deaf ear to us.

You could ask.allan@royalmail.com - it was his idea so I am sure he will be interested that Managers are not holding them.

Re: wtl sessions
Where i work i dont get a WTL. The best bit is that it is actually built into the 318 as a half hour session. If you dont get 1 it means you can take half an hour off the floor. And still have the meal relief!!!!!gerardy wrote:Hi all I was wondering is our office the only one that doesn't get the WTL sessions?

We generally have them, although they are a complete waste of time..
As for having WTL and then saying you haven't got time to absorb/lapse - won't wash, well not in our place, they just wave some figures aorund saying it's quiet enough to complete and that we have got time- end of story! They just won't listen and we still end up booking..
