Missort Run

As we are now starting the xmas pressure i was wandering if your office is still doing a missort run? Our office has been told we are still doing it. This is the first time since i have been a postie (5 years) that a missort run has been done at xmas in our office. We were lead to believe that quality of service issues were treated differently over xmas!!!

No missort run in our area over Xmas,but we have to collect from the hub at 06.00 and the last arrival from our Mail Centre is 08.00.

It shouldn't matter in my DO, the mis-sort runs arrives at 8am, so everybody is still there whenever it arrives.

Yep we are still doing it - in fact as we were leaving to go out this morning another "600" turned up with more packets and letters. Will be waiting for us Monday along with loads of packets. Saturdays we normally get off IPS at 0730 today - 0810.

Apparently we are not yet under Christmas pressure

we have no missort run during christmas pressure but seeing as those people who work their day off or who are allowed to go out early as a bribe not to book growth on the round do not have to wait anyway while the other half of the office has to wait it was becoming a joke anyway, when challenged about this the dom claims that" those missorts still connect " the only connecting they do is to a tray and then are hidden in an office until the next day
