No Inward Night workers!.

At my office two years ago there was twelve night workers who sorted the work for us too come in for our delivery work.Today we came in this morning too find out no one was working last night it was Madness.We had too sort packetts and flats in the letter frames :cfo :lfo .Cutting costs does not work.

Yes only because Tuesday is a light day,I wonder about the rest of the week.I can't see the packetts getting done.

Every one in your office must now start at there duty times,take there meal break and dont use there cars,and see how they then get on.If walks start to fail etc then management will have to do some thing,if they dont then youve no argument and will have to get on with it.

Some don't have breaks also they go out early 8.30am instead of 9.15am.

It's about 4 years since we had night workers but we do have an "early" shift of three who move the yorks left in the building by drivers from the mail centre who open the double doors and literally push the yorks in. They segregate flats from walk sorted and IPS, prepare the DBF and tip and start laying out the walk sorted to the frames and laying out the IPS on the sorting frames for sorting and start small packets. All before the first shift comes in at 6.15 - there's about 160 working here.

All before the first shift comes in at 6.15 - there's about 160 working here.

My Dom calls this trucking and wanted to replace our 65 hours of night S/A with 12 hours of this
