Re: holiday pay when sick
Long term sick annual leave entitlement is for 18 months max. After that you can lose it. But that is for the employer to decide if they implement or allow you to keep building up that annual leave entitlement.

Re: holiday pay when sick
you can't be on sick and annual leave at the same time. If you are thinking of giving up annual leave to cover sickness I would not recommend it because it causes 1 period of sickness to become 2, or 3 or even 4 - and then you are looking at possible dismissal. I would get professional advice before even contemplating this.
However, as far as I know, after returning to work your allowances will restart and you should be paid them during annual leave, Taking the lave during a period of sickness and not returning to work I don't think the allowances will be paid, but you need to call HR to confirm whether I am right or wrong.
