How does annual leave work when leaving Royal Mail?

Hi all, I made a post recently asking about notice period as I’m leaving for another job. I found out my notice period in my contract is only two weeks but I gave them a months notice anyway, don’t want to burn any bridges.
My manager said we would have a meeting on Monday to discuss things that need to be done before I go.
I was just wondering how my annual leave entitlement works; I’ve not taken any annual leave this year yet so what happens to the four weeks I’m due? Apparently you shouldn’t leave Royal Mail either owing or being owed leave so what happens? Do you just take your last couple of weeks off or do you get extra money when you leave?

Annual leave runs from April to April.

You accrue 1/12th of your allocation every month so assuming you've used all of last year's until April you'll only have 6 weeks worth by the time you leave which is only a couple of days.

Unless you have any carried over from last year that is.
