Hi everyone, I have been working for a MC coming up to 6 months end of this April, I am on a 16 hour a week contract on the collections side of things but have never done less than 30 hours a week with over time since starting.
My question is am I in my rights to ask for more hours to be added officially to my contract or is that even possible?
Any information would be appreciated.
Thank You

Re: Add hours to contract
You can ask for more hours but they won't necessarily be given to you.
Your union rep should be doing this for you.
If the hours are there you should be able to get an increase in your contracted hours but if your overtime is due to covering sick absence or covering a duty that might disappear in a revision then you won't.
