Just logged into my people app and looked at my annual leave. Since i looked at it a couple of days ago its now saying ive got a weeks leave in January 2023, which is news to me and i havent picked or asked for it.
Can i assume that this is my DOM being a t*** and putting me down for it for some reason without letting me know?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Annual leave on people app
RMCtv : Single days off? : The current plan is for us to have annual adhoc leave booking available via the app by the end of October'21.
Director of Workforce Perfmnce & Policy at Royal Mail Group
we are starting the trial in Jan/Feb at 8 units agreed with CWU. We will then review, with the intent to deploy to the rest of RMG quickly. Once a request is submitted in the app, it will go to your manager for approval. If approved, it will shown as such in the tile on the People App. So hopefully no paper required!
Look out for further updates in March.?

Re: Annual leave on people app
Was there any paperwork required recently? Trip to DOM's pet, 'can I have the week of blah blah blah off, please?"So hopefully no paperwork required!
DP looks on PSP, says yes or no and if yes it'll show on the app in 24 hours.
I fail to see how being able to book it on the app is of any advantage if a manager still has to approve it. Surely this just, if anything, prolongs the process?
Sooner or later, a beat dog bites.

Hopefully also we will be able to see what leave slots are available or not?
