Re: Employment Tribunal Procedure
First thing you have to do is exhaust the internal grievance procedure. Royal Mail draws this out, so it might force you to instigate a claim without a full and final response. You have three months from the cause of action. That is when the event first occurred in normal events, such as an unlawful deduction of wages.
You register the claim through ACAS. They extend the three months by another month max. They act as a sort of mediator as a last opportunity before a tribunal. Normally after thirty days, if no progress, they will give you a reference number. You then go onto the Employment Tribunal website. You then need that reference number to officially start the claim.

Re: Employment Tribunal Procedure
When was the last time they represented anybody?
Sarcasm aside, they will palm you off to Union Line. In reality, unless you have an 80% chance of success, they will not touch you with a barge pole.
You go through the office rep, they will pass it up to the branch office then onto CWU HQ

Failure to make a reasonable adjustment as to the Equal Rights Act 2010, the branch Secretary is saying that I’ve got to have a consultation with the branch before it goes forward but the branch are very anti me and I’m just wondering if I’m being told the truth

Re: Employment Tribunal Procedure
You need to identify provision criterion or practice Royal Mail instigated that put you at a disadvantage
1. Do you have an Occupational Health report saying in their opinion you are covered under the act?
2. Did you use the official grievance procedure and have a paper trail as a reference source?
