Always was the case for all the years that I worked for RM that they notified you through the post on the fri before. if they haven’t then text or phone staffing.

they'll probably give you the monday off if you don't enquire and say you may as well work when you turn in

Yep, used to get a slip through the door letting you know what duty you'd be on and what time to come in. Of course, now there'd be no point because the staffing is never settled on the day let alone three in advance.

In my 10 years as a reserve I've always ended up phoning in on the Saturday to ask what I'm doing Monday. More recently as no-one answers the phone any more I would send a message to a few people to see if they could send me a pic of the next week's rota... assuming it had been put up by 2pm on Saturday

Rock up at 8am, if they complain get the rep in and tell them both why you werent in earlier.
