Hands up who thought this topic was about...you know...it.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Yes I got that email. Are they not confusing this with the CWU claim they abandoned at the last minute? Can't be over 6000 bothered to do this on their own.

Yes, they were trying to get claim struck out as didn’t reply to a request from them.

Have replied now.

Do we have to reply to them? I’ve already put my claim in to the tribunal.

I really hope they pick me as on of the 10 test cases. I’ve got a head full of s**t to fill the week.

got a letter the other day about it wanting to know how much i'm claiming for, and i may be selected to attend, guessing if RM have any influence they'll opt for as many from the far flung corners of the UK.
seeing there's yet no definitive legal judgment, do i go for the 13 week average prior to the 2 weeks leave in question?
also my 2 weeks leave was taken together, does this mean my 2nd weeks leave claim will slightly differ to the 1st?
getting the averages is pretty simple now all wage slips are available online, just want to input the correct amounts

If you don’t they will write to the tribunal and say you are not interested in continuing the claim and ask for it to be struck out.

If you are one of those, you should have already got an email or letter to say they have asked the tribunal to strike your claim out. It doesn’t mean it will be struck out.

Check your junk and if nothing, email the tribunal at Bristol to confirm you are still pursuing your claim and ask what is happening.

The calculation period up to April 2020 was 12 weeks. From April 20 you go back for the average over the previous 12 months.

Technically, your 2nd week claim amount should be slightly different but I wouldn’t worry too much.

See para ‘Increasing the reference period’:

April is cancelled as test cases selected have all settled. New date is 10-14 October 2022. Got an email other day asking me to confirm total value of my holiday pay claim, a breakdown of the figures, calculation that you have used to reach the total sum you are claiming, including dates, figures and pay details and why i wish to continue with my claim, despite the agreement between Royal Mail and the CWU
