As long as the appeal went in before the 28 days its ok just get onto branch and then HQ if needed... But make sure your mate is covered by all the union can muster.. Never leave to chance anything.. Put things in triplicate or fax and a date and time and who the corrispondance was...
But for the rest i dont feel anyone can comment unless in full facts of the issue mate.. Thats for your Local reps to sort or HQ... No doubt RM havent kept to the time scale to deal with the case but they do as they please until it goes to acas or a IT....
