We got those little Red stamps, which to be honest weren't that bad, the problem came when the ink ran out and nobody had thought to order the replacement pads. Instead of a Low Tech stamp with ink pad they required you to replace the little incorporated pad.

Obviously the spotty young consultant had taken his money and run! Now it's back to putting a biro through it again.

Yeah I did go through a couple before I returned to the pen! Just thought it was a bit short sighted not to be able to refill them. I hate this throw away society. Thanks for the tip though.

Was the ink pad in them actually replaceable though? They might have been glued in place

I'm sure it was SP .... about 2cm square .... I'll double check tommorrow as I've still got one on my frame. I went as far as asking at a printing shop I deliver to about ink. He said he could order me a bottle to refill the pad. Some people had a go at rubbing a marker pen over it .... worked for a while but not long.

Good idea but just not thought through enough.

Back in the day, this bloke helped to invent 'Wave1' it was quite successful but obviously...
