Week of Payment

Are we paid for our contracted hours during the week we work those hours, or are we paid for those contracted hours the following week? I’m querying with my manager my pay slip which I received yesterday - it has the correct overtime on it which I worked last week but not the contracted hours which I worked last week (my manager says that you receive your overtime payment the following week but your contracted hours payment during the actual week you work those hours)
