Injury due to overworking & attendance review

Hi guys,
Some time ago I went on sick leave because I had a back injury caused by overworking (letters and parcels from a few days because I had to work alone, my partner was sick)
I was on sick leave for 2 weeks. Is the manager entitled to give me attendace review promp 1 for this reason? since the injury was the result of working beyond strength?
As far as I know it should not be counted as the cause of the injury was work but I prefer to ask.

Surely if you were using the tools provided (LWT) and only loading bags to the max weight then I can’t see how it could cause an issue?

Did you report the incident / injury to your manager ASAP and have proof ie text ?
Otherwise your Lino is likely to give you a stage 1 at review.
Unfortunately, overworking is optional and you are the best judge of your capabilities.

He can review it, and he can issue a stage. The wording in the agreement is

• Absences which result from accidents
on duty will normally be discounted
when deciding whether the attendance
standards have been reached or
maintained. Such absences will still be
reviewed on return to work

I worked in the area where there are only stairs, we additionally had letters and parcels from 3 days and I was alone.
This situation repeated itself every now and then for 2 weeks.
after returning from sick leave, I was a rehab.
That is my reason od overworking.
Because of these vaccinations there are no people at work and we have to work beyond our strength.
My manager was on holiday then I went on holiday so we missed but tomorrow I'm back.

Our office is up s**t creek but I've never seen anyone 'over work' why would anyone 'over work' is the pay rate better

If you’ve failed to report back strain or any other injury caused by work then you will probably get a stage.

Rule No1: Look after No1
Carrying a bag of mail up and down flights of stairs should be kept to bare minimum.
Keep your bags light, go back to van and reload if need be.

In hindsight ,I would not let mail mount up in known, heavy awkward delivery areas because you will cause yourself injury and back pain is no fun!

Don't over panic with a stage one, they are given out like confetti with no thought process with them.
Take your time, use the trolleys and small bags in flats like the others have suggested.
And get your rep involved.
