As part of resource realignment, Pathway to change, I and others have been given options to either incorporate a Sunday into the shift or, in my case, be added to the annual leave reserve list.
I work Tuesday to Saturday 20 hours, 10am to 14.00 . I have received a letter stating that "If cover is required on any shift then, INCLUDING WEEKENDS, you will be expected to cover.
As i thought Sunday working was voluntary can the request to work a day, not part of your working week, be valid.
