RM email about shares

Post by postiepete2 »

Anyone else get an email from RM doing a survey about selling shares
"Dear Royal Mail colleague,

We are writing to you as the plan administrator for the Royal Mail SIP Free Shares.

We are keen to hear from you in respect of your Royal Mail SIP shares. As you may be aware, later this year all of your SIP Free Shares will become free from any income tax or National Insurance Contributions.

As we approach this milestone, Royal Mail have asked us to put plans in place to ensure the best possible experience for all colleagues who may be thinking of selling their shares.

To help us plan, we would be grateful if you could complete a very short two question survey using the link below.

Please be assured that individual responses will be confidential"
What do you think?

Yes I got the email, I didn't follow the link though as I couldn't be bothered to do a survey.
Maybe they are trying to get into our minds so we sell our shares  I sold most of mine today anyway! it seems like a good time to do it.

no email for me, I would look carfully at the nature of the questions before answering, it maybe a phishing email.

Not had one of these but could any info gained in this sort of way be potentially breaking insider trading rules?
