Strange really that we heard earlier in the week that the PEC would be meeting on the 2nd and 3rd of March, Tues and Wed and we find out the following day - next week, again - any takers on how there is going to be yet another delay - maybe this time RM will leave the table - but then why would they when it's their own table.pjthebear wrote:Here's the news we got off our div rep-deal has been reached today! It's going to the pec early next week and we will find out by Thursday the details.

When i say not important i of course mean as the subject of a market research campaign.
It's importance in other areas is legendary.
Do you have a "Dig yourself out of a hole" smiley.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

This week, a petition was going around work concerning the pool table.
The member of staff in charge of it had replaced the old set of red and yellow balls with a new set of American style numbered stripes and spots balls. The petitioners are complaining that this new equipment was brought in without consultation. They want to carry on playing in their traditional way and resent the imposition of a globalised method of playing pool.
The pool table bloke is arguing that as the new equipment has already been bought, then the petitoners have no choice but to use it.
I wonder where he learnt this behaviour from?
