What concerns do you have on what aspects? What do employees do whilst there is no absolute clarity?

"If the cause of your absence is likely to be covered by the Equality Act, the first two occasions of absence linked to this particular health condition will not normally be ‘counted’ however, this will depend on your absence history."

Love how RM always think they're above the law. Alot of disability discrimination claims to come later I guess.

So royal mail doing what they like with the union in the dark.

Ridiculous they would release something like that when they're supposed to be working together on it

I cannot see this being intruduced retrospectively. If you’re issued a stage 1 on the 31st of July then you’d be off it on the 31st of jan not the 31st of July the following year.

Clearly they’re not going to announce this in advance as it might encourage use it before you loose it.
Received a letter from HR today informing me that my stage one will now last 12months instead of 6

Slimy bastards, when did you get issued with your stage one by the way, I'm assuming in the last six months?

Then they have already broken the agreement only ratified last week which stated that this would be dealt with through a JWG.
That does not bode well for any JWG and union influence moving forward.
Still think that is not the final say on this matter.
