I cannot see this being intruduced retrospectively. If you’re issued a stage 1 on the 31st of July then you’d be off it on the 31st of jan not the 31st of July the following year.

Clearly they’re not going to announce this in advance as it might encourage use it before you loose it.

Received a letter from HR today informing me that my stage one will now last 12months instead of 6

RM have already decided and sent out confirmation letters

Then they have already broken the agreement only ratified last week which stated that this would be dealt with through a JWG.
That does not bode well for any JWG and union influence moving forward.
Still think that is not the final say on this matter.
