So not quite the end of things as was first speculated on News 24, but might be promising if they've not made any rash decisions.Resolution imminent?
Meanwhile, a resolution to the bitter dispute between union officials and the Royal Mail looked to be in sight as the two sides continued to talk late into Friday evening at the TUC in London, according to BBC correspondent Russel Hayes.
He said it had been initially suggested to him that a settlement could be reached within hours, but it later emerged that further progress needed to be made before a deal was agreed.
It is hoped a breakthrough will end the long-running row that has caused havoc with mail delivery services from the beginning of the summer.

I WAS AT A DIV MEETING TODAY AND OUR PEC MEMBER WAS SAYING STUFF WE DIDNT WANT TO HEAR
IN MY VIEW AND OTHERS ANY DEAL MADE IS GOING TO SCREW US . LETS WAIT AND SEE!!!!!!!!
ME AND THE OTHERS REPS ARE NOW THINKING HQ HAVE INSTIGATED THE COURT INJUNCTION
SO THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE TO CALL IT OFF THEMSELVES. NOW IF THE FINAL STAGES OF ANY AGREEMENT GO WRONG THEY WILL WANT US TO BACK THEM AGAIN!!!!!
ANY DEAL PUT TO THE MEMBERS SHOULD BE PUT TO REPS SO WE CAN TELL THEM WHERE TO SHOVE IT.
AS THE MEMBERS WILL LOOK AT THE CARROTT OF £160 + BACK PAY AND NOT THE BIGGER PICTURE.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7038899.stmBBC business editor Robert Peston said the "big pillars" of management demands were in place, including pension fund reform, a pay rise this year of around 2.5 per cent and the reform of working practices.
However, he added: "I don't think that the company has got it all its own way".
Big pillars? Pension reform? Reform of working practices? What did the company not get its way on?
