To anybody who does use their car before or after last friday, forget yours and Royal Fail's needs for a moment, does your car insurance cover you if you have an accident with mail on board or if you lock it and leave it and find mail has been stolen from it when you return? Most insurers are looking for any get out clause they can. You may finish later etc. but at least a red vehicle with yellow stripes down the side is covered. . . .

Don't worry about having only one box, it's up to RM to supply tools for the job not for you to use your car because they won't.

Just get on the vans etc. (you should know the rest by now):nana :nana :nana :nana :nana

I don't honestly know how to get throught to these idiots.
two women in our place regularly go 1.5 hrs overtime(one was a non union scab)
and say f**k all to the screws--too afraid too.
I have told em and told em.

these tossers are so self orientated i dont think we can break em.
We have tried for years.
one rides her bike three miles from home then three miles to delivery, then three back to office then three home

I only arrive in at 5 am usually long after all the others but I still find myself leaving the office at the same time as them (I'm just a holiday reserve so I don't know the frames that well), maybe these people just can't do the job so have to suck up to the management so that they won't end up on the conduct code.
Even now with all the issues going on these people still won't listen I suppose with later starts they can come in even earlier and give RM more free overtime just so they can finish a little bit earlier.

Ok point taken we'll leave it now.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
