NO ITS NOT -your colleague is talkin shite .

1) At your start time join your brave brothers & sisters on the picket line .
or
2)Just don't go in ! either way your pay will be docked but its worth it
or
3) Cross the line & suffer the consequences for the rest of your days

Well i am not going to be saying good luck to you, as there will be no luck with you when you cross that picket line.

I hope you decide against crossing on that day, because if you think this place is turning against you, your colleagues within your office will have nothing to do with you. We have one colleague that crossed the picket line back in march, and ever since then he has not spoken a word and neither have our colleagues.

If you want to suffer in silence, then that is the path you will lead. If i were in your situation, i would find another job, and resign from the union.

Like many loosing a days pay at any time will hurt now especialy, I could cross the line and as prommissed by RM no more changes for the rest of year. That works out with christmas to be about 8 weeks,WOW.

What happens in Jan when Pegus 2 comes in as planned ,we have seen the trailer for this new blockbuster, detailed plans are out fror revised 3.5 hour walks.
BUT,I know and many of us do these walks will take about 4.50hours just on delivery forget about extra prep time extra packets ect.
What happens if I get threatend by the management or get a days pay stopped.Do I LEAVE THE JOB OR WHAT?

We must back the CWU ,they must back us.

Listen ogg, no one can afford to strike and i would guess no one one wants to strike, but people have been pushed to far and it's only going to get worse, we ALL NEED TO STAND TOGETHER and say NO MORE. I personally have arranged for a payment break on my loan and my wife has bought the christmas presents on buy now pay next september, hopefully by then the strike will be sorted and then i can pay for christmas then. Stop making excuses and get on the gate. WE MUST STAND UNITED!!!!!!!!!!

in our small depo we flex up most days and we allways flex up one duty most weeks and no one seems too bothered as we allways get back befor our finish time everyone is happy the depo is allways clear off mail.

the only thing we are bothered about is the pay
You go in then mate. :Applause
We will lose money and take care of the pay rise for you.Hopefully if we lose the RM will give us some extra money. After all they are well known for their generosity . :left:

Everyone has a right to do as they so please but too Bragg on here is bad for all those who choose to make the sacrifice and stand up for themselves and all and not cower under meek and mild excuses for their own personal gain!.

Just read your 'story of woe' on the opening page of this topic , I think you should make a book out of this epic tale of your downfall...!! And when your old and reading it to your Grandchildren or even Great Grandchildren, when they look up and see a tear in your eye, they'll ask "what's wrong Pappa..?" it's then that you'll get to say those immortal words that none of us with pride, dignity,a conscious and a backbone will ever get to say.................I WAS A SCAB...!!

Ogg, don't do it. For the sake of a couple of days' wages lost every week until it's over you will be given the silent treatment for the rest of your time in Royal Mail.
You will be lauded by the bosses while the strike is on but as soon as the dispute is settled you will be on your own and the deserved tag of SCAB will hang around your neck like a millstone.
Show solidarity with the Union and stand by your workmates.

You know you should.
