You can? Whatever you perceive to be wrong with RM (and I'm not disagreeing with you on that) has SFA to do with the decreasing mail being sent, so no, it looks like you can't play the stats game too....

Cut Off King wrote:Even if the manager were telling the truth about a 10% drop in mail volume, it dosen't disguise that there has been a - 25% - Reduction in RM staff(55,000 fewer staff ),so thats at least 15% more work that were pulling in ! confront your manager within WTL with this fact
Also if there are 25% less staff, why isn't there a 25% reduction in management ?
As our jobs are getting larger & harder, theirs are getting lighter

15% is the packet increase according to RM,I'm sure someone asked in this thread if they didn't then a bit of info for you.

Now nighty,about me question.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Cheers Postman, I'm sure I read on here that there was a maximum number of packets/items requiring a signature that we were meant to take, probably in the Pegasus revision of something, you know 25% call rate, walk at 0.05MPH, anyone living on a hill steeper than 1/150 has to collect their own mail. OK I made the last ones up.
