If there is a vote, please have one seperate for delivery staff only as it will reflect more fairly. so it can be light blue voting slip for delivery and white voting slip for non delivery staff then we will get a total vote for overall and delivery. But I don't think it will happens.

You are implying that the non-delivery staff will vote in such a way as to shaft the delivery staff
But it does not sit with the facts:
82% of the membership are in deliveries !!!!!
Even if every single one of the 'non delivery' people were to vote Yes to an agreement, you would still only need to motivate less than a quarter of the delivery staff to vote No, for the overall result to still be a big NO vote.
If the vast majority of the delivery members were not @rsed enough to return their ballot paper, and allowed only 18% of the total membership to swing the vote, then they really could not have grounds to complain about the outcome

It is not up to the union rep to make sure everyone votes but each member of the CWU and employee of Royal Mail whose agreement this deal encompasses to make their informed decision!. With help on here I hope all will vote but we cannot line them up against a wall and shoot them this is the UK not Uganda!

delivery is so bad in everyway it will take a miracle to sort it out. I want to read the company have recognize workload & b&h are a huge problem & need sorting asap. Otherwise its all hot air & the norm will continue. stuff the payrise, posties are on the brink.

The just published half year accounts for RM show a pay deal accrual for 2013-14 of £65 million that suggests the deal will be backdated !

At our office they have offered vr to some mail centre guys and there are a lot of happy posties. Everyone has a different agenda and people want different things in different circumstances. Not so happy in my section as it has not been offered.

Some of us remember going from earning £40+ a week for D2D to earning like £15 a week after the last agreement and the union negotiators apparently made out this was a good deal, so there is reason to be apprehensive.

Some of us remember 'earning' about £12 a week for D2D up to 2010 but have seen that nearly double after the last agreement so the union negotiators could actually make out this was a good deal for some of us.
I'm sure I wasn't alone in considering it odd that two postmen would work the same number of hours and do the same amount of work but one would 'earn' £1,500 or so a year more just because they delivered more Door To Doors and less 'proper mail' this arguably being all the more unfair in that they also benefited from spending longer sat down in the warm preparing the Door To Doors and less time out on delivery in all weathers.

Look there is a comphrnsive delivery section of the overall agreement including a B&H part and a comphrnsive review including a review from every from d2d being included in delivery workload including audits and site visits from National officers and Div Rep and trials on incentive schemes .

If the union was going to stitch delivery members up they would have accepted Royal mails plans to create a total flexibity workforce including annualised and seasonal hours and continuous improvement and more effieency targets ! Instead they kept saying no and forcing Royal Mail to change their postion.

For some of you nothing other than Royal Mail putting up the white flag and changing everything including D2D and delivery methods and working all the hours your paid

For some who want to make a difference and are realistic the review will for the first time jointly identify not scare stories but see the facts and then the union has to tackle it through negotiations or a fight but at lease we will have a members survey and joint visits no hiding places.
