Well what happens in 3 years when our terms and conditions change and the new owner reduces our hours and wages and say to get the shares you have to fill in the new reduced contract?

It is possible they might but it would have to be offered to you and a deal struck. People seem to know the future on this matter

thats the point.
the goal posts can probably be changed so unless the shares are allocated like normal shares the whole thing is a non starter imo.
do not accept it as part of ANY deal unless its on the basis of normal shares...no ties... strings etc.
the fact they are putting clauses in is very dubious....especially aftre the last trick they pulled on shares.
play the game...strike before christmas just to p1ss em off and let em know who is boss now

I'd be telling them to shove it up their arse.eastie wrote:Well what happens in 3 years when our terms and conditions change and the new owner reduces our hours and wages and say to get the shares you have to fill in the new reduced contract?
Whatever gains could be made from shares will be minimal, especially compared to what we'd have to give up.
Sometimes, I wish I wasn't a Rep.
