I spoke to the Branch Women's Officer today. She was sympathetic to the situation as you would expect.
Personally I have been covering the same walk for the past couple of months and it is adequately supplied with toilet facilities. The problem would only arise if I was back on a floating/reserve duty, never really knowing when I would be doing what walk.
So although I don't really have a problem at the moment, I still feel this is an issue that DOM's need to be aware of and the Branch Women's Officer said she would try and raise the profile of the problem. I think RMC may well have already done that. (Thank you Postman)

As for the mooncup brothermagrew, I was aware of the prduct but I was always a bit dubious as to how effective it would be out on delivery - what with all the movement and bending etc but in the interest of research I am going to use one next time I have my period and I may report back. (though if it's a total disaster I may be too embarrassed).
The figures you quoted are truly horrendous, especially for someone who likes to think of themselves as environmentally responsible.
Never let the hand you hold, hold you down.

Motherhubbard pleased that you at least received from your BWO a sympathetic response to your particular situation and that she would try to raise the profile of the problem. With regards to if you were back on a floating/reserve duty and never really knowing when you would be doing what walk, perhaps one of the CWU's current IR Reps can clarify the situation further, as although I am a CWU H&S Rep, I was under the impression that managers and CWU IR Reps were to have regular weekly/fortnightly resource meetings which planned all duties in advance so that all employees would know what particular duty the were assigned to on any given day.

With regards to the mooncup I respect your views and at the end of the day it is really your decision and yours alone on whether you report back or not. :wave

If you are having problems go see your GP and ask them to prescribe Norethisterone. I was on these because I had to have a blood transfusion because of a fibroid. Another thing I got a Stage 3 for :arrrghhh
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
